CLOUD HEART Involvement
As an Official Partner of the Junior Golf Growth Support Project (JGSP), CLOUD HEART co-designs the systems through which children can access their first opportunity in golf — together with support partner IJGA.
Project Overview
This project was founded with the belief that children aged 5 through to 4th grade of primary school should be able to encounter golf — a sport they can enjoy for life — and grow through it with joy.
Three steps bring golf within reach.
STEP. 1
Register as a Member on the Official Project Website
Membership fee: Free
Annual fee: ¥3,000
STEP. 2
Play at Partner Facilities at Special Rates
Driving range: Weekdays 120 min / Weekends & holidays 90–120 min: ¥500 or below
Short course 9 holes (approx. 2 hours): ¥500
Parent-child use: one junior member free of charge (conditions vary by facility)
STEP. 3
Participate in Quick 9 Tour Events and Experience Days
Take on the 9-hole tournament format.
Build experience, enjoy the game, and level up.

- A 9-hole junior tour for golfers aged 5 through to Year 4 of primary school. Designed so that children can play freely, casually and build real competitive experience.

World Junior Challenge Category (9 holes)
Divided by age group: U6 (mixed) / 7–8 years (mixed) / 9–10 years (mixed). A stage where juniors aiming for the world can build competitive experience while enjoying the game.

Junior Challenge Debut Category (9 holes)
A challenge category open to juniors with little or no competitive experience. Designed as a first tournament appearance — a chance to play alongside peers and begin accumulating competitive experience.

Parent & Child Smile Cup (9 holes)
An enjoyment category where parents, siblings and families can play together. A new kind of golf event that values creating family memories as much as the score.

Established as part of the CLOUD HEART PROJECT, the Sports for Kids Foundation works with local supporting organizations and partners to create opportunities for children to discover sport and culture, explore their potential, and take on new challenges — not as a one-time experience, but as an ongoing opportunity.

- About the Event
- Under the concept of “Providing every child with opportunities to experience sports and culture,” the Karuizawa Sports Festival is an event where children can discover a variety of sports, take on new challenges, and connect with new people.
- The 2026 event marked its third edition, welcoming approximately 300 students from second grade of elementary school through third grade of junior high school from Karuizawa and the surrounding cities of Saku, Komoro, and Miyota. Former and current professional athletes served as instructors, offering programs across a wide range of sports, including baseball, soccer, wrestling, tennis, SNAG golf, golf, and curling.
- Through encounters with sports that children may not normally have the opportunity to experience, as well as interactions with top athletes, the event creates opportunities for children to discover new interests and possibilities. It also aims to reduce disparities in access to experiences shaped by where children grow up, while nurturing essential life skills through sport and culture.

A national qualifying tournament that selects Japan's representatives for the World Junior Golf Championship. CLOUD HEART supports the tournament as an apparel sponsor, helping young Japanese golfers take on the challenge of the world stage.
